The tenth edition of the National Biofilm Network (RNB) conference will be held from 27th (evening) to 29th November 2024 at Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier, organised by LGC, Laplace, LAAS, TBI, CIRIMAT, IMFT and Fermat, in the auditorium of the university's administrative building.

The aim of the National Biofilm Network is to create synergies between all those involved in the 'Biofilm' theme (researchers and professionals from the health, agri-food, environmental and engineering sectors) through scientific and methodological exchanges.

The meeting will address the following topics
- Adhesion, biofilm formation, extracellular matrices
- Innovative methods and techniques for characterising biofilms
- Biomineralisation, biodeterioration and bioremediation
- Health: new in vitro models, persistence, resistance, antibiofilm approaches
- Electroactive biofilms, Electronic exchange mechanisms, Innovative electrodes
- Environment, climate change and biofilm, natural surfaces/materials
- Design, manufacture, characterisation of surfaces/materials (antimicrobial, anti-adhesive, for depollution and bioproduction)
- Biofilm biophysics, Flow and transport phenomena, Microfluidics

We look forward to welcoming you to Toulouse, a dynamic city nestling between the sea and the mountains.
